It is not difficult to choose the right figure skating club for children, to attend your child's classes. Sports, the largest club in Latvia or maybe not great, but with an individual approach to your baby. At each rink, the ice arena, there is a sports club of figure skating, and even several clubs.
Major clubs of figure skating are, first of all, clubs that teach figure skating for 10 years or more. Such clubs were founded closer to 2000, at the time when there was practically no figure skating, there were fewer clubs and only true patriots of Latvian figure skating for children and adults made attempts to revive figure skating in Latvia.
The number of trained figure skaters of the largest clubs is about 100 people. A big club is a big responsibility. The more children in the club, the more difficult it is to monitor the learning process, the corresponding figure skaters come to the training. It's fun and interesting for kids in large groups to skate, but in such clubs it is difficult to organize an individual approach to your child.
Not large figure skating clubs for children or new clubs. Over the past 3-5 years, many new figure skating clubs for children from Riga and Riga have appeared in Latvia. Numerical advantage of old figure skating clubs, new ones have 20-70 pupils. In such clubs with an individual approach to your child, everything is in order, because the groups are not large, the seats are bigger and freer on the rink.
All clubs are not dependent on the age and the number of athletes, arrange their competitions, holidays for children, organize summer camps.

- Time of training
- Cost of training
- Number of children in the group
In the first 2-3 sessions, we advise you to pay attention to coaching work with your child. How much attention does the coach give to the young figure skater and then draw conclusions as to whether this club is suitable for your baby.
